About the Commissioner of Accounts
The Office of the Commissioner of Accounts is appointed by the Circuit Court for the general supervision of Court appointed and qualified fiduciaries in the administration of decedent’s estates, testamentary trusts, conservatorships for incapacitated adults and veterans, guardianships of the property of minors; and the audit and approval of real estate foreclosure accountings.
This website has been created by the Commissioner of Accounts for the City of Colonial Heights for the use by fiduciaries qualifying in the Colonial Heights Circuit Court as administrators or executors of decedents’ estates; trustees for minors and testamentary trustees; conservators or trustees for incapacitated adults and veterans; guardians of the property of minors; and real estate foreclosure trustees appointed by the noteholder.
This website provides resources for fiduciaries concerning the duties of administration including but not limited to requirements as to filing of forms and fees associated. Many of your questions may be answered by a review of the resources available on this site.
